The Greater Birmingham Humane Society offers the opportunity for individuals to complete court mandated hours. All applicants must be approved and complete an in-person overview of duties. Please fill out an application at https://gbhs.galaxydigital.com/court-ordered-community-service/ and email Manager of Volunteer Services and Community Engagement, Chivon Morse at cmorse@gbhs.org to express interest. Those not eligible to serve community service include applicants who have been convicted of neglect or abuse, violent crimes, weapons charges, sexual charges and some drug charges.
Note: Shifts are either "Morning" or "Afternoon". Select the time frame that you will be coming in.
