Snow Drive Feline Volunteer

Feline Care volunteers provide the necessary mental stimulation that is needed to keep our cats and kittens happy and healthy. They are passionate and positive while striving to better the lives of our shelter cats. Feline Care volunteers work well with others but also thrive with limited supervision. 

Feline Care volunteers must attend orientation and complete a mentor shift with a lead volunteer/staff member.

Feline Daily care includes socialization and exercise, kennel cleaning, and grooming as needed.

Duties include:
- Providing regular socialization for cats and kittens
- Helping to clean and maintain cat and kitten condos and colonies
- Making notes about feline behaviors for staff
- Staying aware of shelter changes and training updates
- Working with pet biographers and photographers to provide personality information for write ups
