Due to volunteer and staff availability, this will be the only training class available in December. More training classes coming in January! We appreciate your patience as we work to accommodate as many volunteers as we can.
The GBHS now has a Vaccine or Test policy for volunteers. You must be willing and able to either submit proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test before class and/or volunteering.
This class is an in depth look at canine handling at GBHS. There is a volunteer fee of $45 per person involved that covers all of your materials including a leash, apron, and shirt. If this fee inhibits you from taking the class, please notify Chivon Morse (cmorse@gbhs.org) for potential scholarship opportunities.
If you cannot attend this class, please let Chivon know as soon as possible so that others may have a chance to attend training.
Note: This class is open to 16 years old and up. All minors under the age of 19 years old must have a guardian or parent in attendance for the first 15 minutes of class. For any questions, please email cmorse@gbhs.org
